Season 5 Episode 1: In conversation with Juliana Servent

I’m delighted to share episode 1 of a new podcast season! The first guest of Season 5 is Juliana Servent, who leads Strategic Partnerships at Fondation des Femmes. In case you’ve never heard of Fondation des Femmes, it’s a French organisation that provides financial, legal and material support to feminist initiatives, throughout France, concerning violence against women.

They are currently supporting an estimated 500 projects and public donations play a huge part in keeping them going.

I spoke to Juliana on International Women’s Day, the same week that France became the first ever country to write abortion into their Constitution. We spoke about her relationship with intersectional feminism, intimate partner violence, abortion rights, and, of course, feminist literature.
